Forestry Services 2021-2023
Under the direction of the MW Watershed Maintenance Supervisor, for the purpose of reducing understory fuel loads both in mixed conifer and hardwood stands on the Mt. Tamalpais Watershed, work to be conducted includes, but is not limited to the following: felling and bucking of select trees (<12" DBH), on-site mastication and/or chipping of understory brush and/or pilling slash (<6" DBH) for later burning by MW staff; hand removal of invasive broom plants within woodlands and grasslands, including on-site piling for later burning by MW staff.
